The Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League (BPYSL or “Buckeye”) is a top-level, nationally recognized youth soccer league based in central and southern Ohio and part of the Ohio Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer. Teams that want stronger competition than what they can receive in their local league — MOSSL in Columbus, MVYSL in Dayton, and CPL in Cincinnati — tend to join Buckeye instead. There are several reasons why we believe the BPYSL is the right league for developing our U10-U14 players.

Player Development Benefits of the BPYSL:

  • BPYSL has multiple levels and divisions from State (highest), to Elite (middle), to Premier (lower), to Select (lowest) so there’s typically a division with the right level of competition
  • BPYSL teams self-schedule, which typically results in game dates and times that fit better into the overall season schedule and result in fewer reschedules
  • Depending on the makeup of each league, our Cincy SC teams may still play the majority of their league games in the Cincinnati area; a few per season are typically played in Dayton or Columbus

Additional information about BPYSL can be found on the league’s website.
